completely contradicting last week's blog preface - i felt like shit after the AFC. i was disappointed in myself. i wanted to cry. running sucks. i hate it. i hate having goals and coming no where near them. i hate the things i can't control, like side stitches. i hate not being strong enough to avoid things i can control, like proper nutrition. i hate developing one sided rivalries. i hate losing each of these rivalries. that's the dark side of my running. it doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it sucks. i sulk. i play things back in my head and then i get over it and train for the next race. at least the sulking period is getting shorter and shorter.
